today's alumni concert was fine. my little imagine solo was better than i expected it would be. Thank you wei xiang for letting me participate in this concert. I've enjoyed myself. Channel U is showing "My name is Kim San Soon". I love this show.

I aim to "blog" twice per month and here I am. Some of the above pictures are dated to last year and seeing it brings some pretty fond memories. Like the "Countdown" at Botanic Garden, it was pretty pathetic yet fruitful. Quality time spent with friends.

Sinfonia @ Esplanade was a success! All soloists were at form and peaking on that day. Flaws there may be, but I am proud of what we have acheived in less than 3 months. Way to go NYPSO. For myself, I played pretty well that day.. solos went fine and thank god the high note came out. At here, i slap hands with all those who came to support. Thank You.

While most students are having their exams, a handful are having their TEP. Posted at humanlink, there are pretty much on going each day. Toppling with a strict supervisor, life is kinda hard but managable. Pretty thankful that I'm at TEP for studying is really a chore. Not exactly looking forward to year 3 - The final lap. Speaking of looking forward, Jason mraz concert is nearing and I cant wait to wave those posters like a mad man. Btw, the "im yours" hit maker sold his tickets out within 3 days.

2 weeks ago, I went along with some friends of mine to Live "n" Loaded. Pretty shocking to see myself on the TV a few times. I got the "hey i saw you on TV" lots of times. Not proud of that. Shall update if I get any footage. lol. In media related issue, Benjamin Buttons was awesome. So was Little Nynonya.

I dont know what I have left out so I shall end here. Got to prepare for tmr's practise and NTU concert. By the way, im having a concert next sat. If you are interested, please contact me. See ya.

The durian shaped architecture is the closest thing i can get in Singapore in comparision to Musikverien. I will be performing there tmr and gosh im feeling all nervous. Havent been playing well these days and confident level is rapidly decreasing with every note made. While practising today, im still juggling with the concerns of which reed would sound better in Esplanade. The news of many band members from other schs coming is a double to the worry im having.  No "LOL?" message should be sent. I just pray that my solos would be played well tmr. I will be fine.. more than fine :) Good luck to all soloist tmr. haha

The earth is sick and the illness is still snowballing. The economy is doing so bad that it feels like it's never ending. The drama Chen Shui Bian is scripting is pathetic. Singapore have not seen the hint of a sunny day for the longest time. Mas selemat still roaming somewhere. Tiger eating up human. Big companies closing down. US Financial Minister not acting upon (yet). 2012 trailer not helping me see hope in this bleak future. Aids' cure not found. Feeling negative doesnt help.

I think my luck has changed ever since i put on braces. I once read that the adjustement of your teeth will change your "Feng Shui" because of the "new look". I'm thinking out loud to the credibility of that and i do want to believe it's does have a degree of believability. Anyway, this week has been goooooood due to many factors and one of it is keeping myself busy. I love being busy and having something on everyday. I have the tendency of setting a reminder on my phone and I'll excited when the alarm of the latter rings.

Theres a saying " Nothing Last Forever " and i do agree. Today's performance for MM Lee was the last for NYPSO. The year with Mr Tan may be short but it's been really fruitful. I have indeed learn alot from him, not just musically but also as a person. I'm sure he will do very very well for his studies in the USA but still good luck. haha. see you in 4 years time perhaps. All the best and I'm sure we will still keep in touch.
